About Dr. Amer Shah
Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Amer Shah is dedicated to comprehensive, individualized care for his patients. He pursued his doctorate at the University of New England. He enjoys all kinds of procedures including preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Today, he is Invisalign certified, a proud member of Spear Education, and recently became certified in placing dental implants.
Dr. Shah has been married since 2020. When he is not in the office, some of his favorite hobbies include watching and playing football, basketball, tennis, and pickleball. Most of his free time is spent with his family and friends; he loves going to restaurants, playing board games, traveling, hiking in national parks, and is a BIG foodie.
Dr. Shah is ecstatic to serve the Naperville, IL community. He enjoys being hands-on to complete various tasks, interacting directly with people, and being able to put a big smile on everyone’s face. He takes great pride in creating a friendly, painless and relaxed environment for all his patients. He is committed to helping people in achieving the dental improvements they need for a happier and healthier life!

Got to the office and was seen within 5 minutes. Once settled, Dr. Shah came in within a few minutes. Reviewed my x-rays then began a thorough examination of my mouth, gums, and teeth. Provided a detailed analysis of the recommended services I would be needing and the timeframe. He provided pictures and an explanation of recommend procedures. Reviewed the charges and what would be covered by my insurance company and my out-of-pocket expenses.
I felt very comfortable with the entire experience and would highly recommend him to my friends and family. In fact, I schedule an appointment for my wife prior to leaving.
Office staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

Dr. Shah is absolutely outstanding!
I’ve never felt more comfortable or confident in a dental office. I deal with white coat syndrome and usually feel uneasy at any kind of medical visit, especially the dentist, but Dr. Shah changed that completely. He’s patient, explains everything clearly, and never rushes, which makes the whole experience surprisingly calm and stress free. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients, and his team is just as welcoming and professional.
If you’re looking for a dentist who’s honest, talented, and truly understands how to make patients feel comfortable, Dr. Shah is the one. Highly recommended!

I was seen immediately upon arrival, and the front desk staff was warm and welcoming. Victoria, the nurse, was incredibly friendly and explained every step of the check-up and X-ray process. The doctor made a great first impression-very genuine and attentive. He carefully examined each tooth from every angle and clearly explained all concerns. He walked me through insurance and costs with complete transparency. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time and assumed I’d need treatment for everything, but he only addressed actual issues-no unnecessary work, hidden fees, or extra appointments. I truly felt cared for and respected throughout the entire visit. From today on, this is the only dentist I’ll ever go to.

Dr. Shah is by far the best dentist that I have ever had! He is very knowledgeable and caring. He makes sure that you are not in any pain throughout the whole procedure. Also, I have never been to the dental office where the dentist himself does teeth cleaning. Dr. Shaw's assistant - Anthony- is also so kind and good at what he does; overall, they are an excellent team and I could not have asked for a better team. You will not regret for choosing Dr. Shah as your dentist. Very affordable as well. Highly recommended!

Dr. Shah did a great job on my crown on back molar. I can finally chew/eat. They also used a scanning so I didn't even need to take an impression which I was worried about because I have a gag reflux.
