About Dr. Amir Ahmadi
I am a caring and gentle dentist originally from Southern California. I now live in the New York Metro area with my lovely wife and rambunctious 7-year-old son.
I love my job because it allows me to help a great variety of people in a deep and meaningful way. I perform laser periodontal therapy, dental implants (often my favorite), periodontal plastic surgery, gum grafting, extractions, and bone grafting, including sinus lifts. I empower my patients through education so they can take an active role in their care. I guide patients through a process of co-discovery using detailed photography and educational programs to explain their condition and potential treatment options. I then help them make the decisions that are right for them.
I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed a residency in Periodontics at New York University. I would love the opportunity to help you. Thanks for your interest.

Dr. Ahmadi was able to put a perfect implant in my mouth, where there was a whole for almost a year. My last dentist messed up, so I was scared to go to the dentist, but he was able to fix me up. I'll definately come back.

Knowing full well in advance of my apprehension and serious need for maintenance, Dr. Ahmadi was outstanding in putting me at ease, planning and describing a course of action, putting it into motion and then following through by checking up on me later. Given that I've now seen him twice within three days, my feeling that I'm in the right hands is certain.
