Dr. Andrawis graduated with a doctorate degree in Dental Medicine. With a special interest in soft tissue augmentation and oral plastic surgery, Dr. Andrawis pursued a career at the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University. During his residency, he presented numerous times about innovative techniques in trauma, digital dentistry, and immediate implant placement. Dr. Andrawis is also faculty at NYU college of dental medicine and enjoys mentoring prospective dental or perio students. Dr. Andrawis is passionate about helping patients who have a high level of anxiety and previous bad experiences in the dental chair. His patience and calm demeanor will help put patients at ease and feel comfortable about anticipated treatment.

I would say I had a great experience at my dental visit today. Dr. Andrawis was very informative in explaining my dental treatment to me. The doctors staff were very helpful in setting up my next appointment & re-explaining my treatment to me.

The doctor was very friendly, clear in his diagnosis, and was great with a nervous patient. He informed me of each step before it happened and I barely felt the injections. He saw me in an urgent state and was very accommodating and scheduled my follow-up quickly too.
