About Dr. Anqi Hu
Dr. Hu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. She then completed a residency in General Dentistry at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where her training focused on full mouth rehabilitation and smile makeovers. Her fellowship with the American Academy of General Orthodontics emphasized traditional braces and clear aligner therapy for both adults and children.
In her spare time, Dr. Hu enjoys reading and learning about new technologies. She is passionate about helping her patients establish healthy and confident smiles. Understanding that dental visits can be stressful for many patients, Dr. Hu strives to communicate clearly and provide a stress-free experience.

Dr. Hu is friendly and very thorough. She did a great job explaining what was going on with my teeth and recommended several different treatment options without trying to “sell” me on one over another. I look forward to returning to Ascend for my next appointment.

Dr. Hu is probably the nicest dentist I’ve seen as an adult. She is great at clearly explaining different medical issues and possible treatment plans. I was nervous to be seen because I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years, but I left the building feeling happy and comfortable. I’m looking forward to continuing treatment with her.

I had a pleasant visit to Dr. Hu's office. The staff were all friendly, and once my paperwork was filled out, it wasn't too long before I was seen. The one area for future improvement would be if they accepted electronic forms through ZocDoc or otherwise; that saves 15-20 minutes doing paper forms in the office. Dr. Hu has a very kind bedside manner, as did Michelle, the dental assistant who worked with me. I'm glad to have found my new dentist!

Dr. Hu was friendly and clearly explained each part of the exam & its results. Her team (Michelle and Victoria) was also great - friendly, and performed my X-rays + dental cleaning quickly, effectively, and painlessly. As a whole, the office is quiet, responsible about COVID protocols, and timely - I was seen with no wait, as soon as I had filled out the necessary forms.

There was no wait for my appointment, but I was only able to speak a few minutes with the dentist. Dr. Anqi Hu did not explain the procedure or tell me which teeth she was operating on. The appointment felt rushed and there is still some pain surrounding the side that she worked on. I will now be seeing another dentist.
