“Woah what an experience! Dr. Gulati and his dental assistant Miranda at MyDental San Marcos clearly explained the health condition of my teeth, showed me with high definition equipment the weaker areas that needed small fillings, and offered comfort measures to ensure I was calm and relaxed throughout the appointment. I had my toddler with me also and the administrative assistant Marsha went above and beyond to ensure my daughter had a clean and fun area play in and relax during my assesment. By the end of my appointment my toddler wanted to go up into Marsha's arms. I really enjoyed my experience and plan to continue my dental treatment plan with Dr. Gulati thanks to their thoughtful and informed approach. ”

With over 15 years of experience in the field, Dr. Atul Gulati has mastered all aspects of general dentistry. His services encompass non-wisdom teeth extractions, crowns and bridges, removable dentures, and non-molar root canals. Known for his attentive approach, Dr. Gulati takes the time to understand his patients’ needs to provide the best possible care.
Dr. Gulati’s extensive experience includes five years of treating elderly, geriatric, disabled, and dementia patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. During this time, he honed his skills in patient care, emphasizing patience, compassion, and empathy. This experience ensures that Dr. Gulati delivers customized dental care tailored to meet individual oral health and smile goals.
Dr. Gulati earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and his DDS from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2009. He is Invisalign Certified and continuously updates his knowledge with the latest technological advances in 3D imaging, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
Understanding that many people have had negative dental experiences or fear the sound of dental drills, Dr. Gulati is dedicated to making anxious or fearful patients feel comfortable and relieving their pain. His excellent chairside manner, thorough yet conservative approach, and expertise make patients feel confident in his care.
