“Due to my daughter being 11, we kept getting turned away from different offices because of her needing a root canal and her age. Offices needed her to be 13+ to even consider work on her. Meanwhile the pain kept getting worse, finally this morning after a long night of pain I called for an appointment we were treated with great empathy and kindness from the front staff, we were offered a same day appointment! When we walked in the door you could tell the staff here enjoys what they do, no nasty looks or judgement, it was genuine care! We saw Dr. R, I was a little afraid of his response after explaining our predicament and he was more than happy to help, he got us scheduled same day for my daughter to start getting her root canal fixed. I am beyond pleased with this office, we have been struggling for over a year getting the same responses, and here we are One visit with Dr.R and my daughters pain is starting to get treated, I am beyond grateful to have found this office!! ”

About Dr. Barinderpal Cheema
A Canadian native, Doctor Barinder Cheema might have become a hockey player instead of a dentist, but a certain uncle in his family had a very great influence on his eventual choice of career. Visiting his uncle’s dental office, “it became inspirational to see such big changes among people walking in with pain and out with a smile.” As a result, Dr. Cheema crossed the border to the University of Washington in Seattle and earned his degree in dentistry. Now he brings his abilities to save teeth and restore smiles to the Placerville Dental Group.
Dr. Cheema enjoys taking the time to hear about any problems you may have with your teeth. He always seeks to clearly explain the state of your oral health, to point out the procedures that can help you protect it, and to answer any of your questions before starting treatment.
A trilingual dentist, Dr. Cheema speaks Punjabi and Hindi, alongside English. His goal is for every patient to feel comfortable in our local office and for all clients to have the same experience they had with his uncle — to walk out with a smile!
Since hockey is a little-known sport in our area, Dr. Cheema now spends his free time with hiking, horseback riding and travel.

It’s always good ,the staff and Dr. Cheema are always very friendly and perfeshional . Dr.Cheema does very good work and always explains everything he’s doing . I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
