A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Maheswaran is an active member of both the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She regularly pursues continuing education to stay at the forefront of advancements in dentistry. Community service is an integral part of Dr. Maheswaran’s personal and professional life. She is committed to providing care to underserved populations and has volunteered her time and expertise to the Ekwangjenanag First Nations Reserve in Hagersville, Ontario, offering pro bono dental services. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Maheswaran enjoys flying small aircraft, traveling, staying active through fitness, and spending quality time with her daughter, Sharmithaa, and her beloved cat, Wicca.
