About Dr. Brian Scaff

Dr. Scaff started his education at the University of Texas in Austin. He then attended the UT Health School of Dentistry-Pace Center. He enjoyed the self-paced curriculum that allowed time for other learning opportunities. Clinically, Dr. Scaff remembers a retired military professional who needed quite a bit of work. He treated him several times each week. Dr. Scaff ended up doing 14 root canals, and the crowns that went with them. He believes he completed at least 50% of his requirements on just one patient! He graduated in 1982 and began practicing shortly after in the North Austin area. Over the years, Dr. Scaff has dedicated a lot of time to continuing education. He achieved a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and spent several weeks training at the prestigious Pankey Institute. Dr. Scaff has pursued advanced dental training, including the Six Months Smiles® cosmetic orthodontics training. He continues to take classes regularly with the Seattle Study Club, a worldwide organization focusing on interdisciplinary studies.
