Dr. Brielle Lira attended Western University of Health Sciences in California where she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in May of 2017. Dr. Lira had always dreamed of being a dentist and even wrote about it in her 3rd grade year book! She had practiced for 2 years in Arizona prior to relocating to Texas to join the Renken Dentistry Team in 2019. Dr. Lira enjoys cooking, living an active lifestyle and spending time with her husband and husky, Cayde. Dr. Lira is a Tripartite Member of the Texas Dental Association and Capital Area Dental Society. She is also an alumni member of an international dental fraternity, Delta Sigma Delta, an organization that aims to promote excellence in the dental profession. Dr. Lira is particularly interested in the field of Oral Implantology. She has taken an extensive number of continuing education courses to further her knowledge of dental implants. She completed over 100 hours of hands-on training in a variety of cities across the United States. Dr. Lira attended Implant Pathways where she performed implant surgeries at the non-profit, New Horizon Dental Center in Tempe, AZ. These surgeries were performed on patients who received pro bono dental care, many of them who were Veterans and victims of abuse. She continues to expand her knowledge of implants by attending yearly conferences like ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologist). She is also currently working on obtaining her implant fellowship. Dr. Lira has also taken continuing education courses to learn more about Sleep Apnea. She has a desire to help patients maintain overall better health by treating those who suffer from this condition. Her goal is to help patients achieve a better quality of life and minimize their risk of severe health problems. Additionally, Dr. Lira has been certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to perform botox therapy for TMJ related pain and is also a certified Invisalign provider.
