About Dr. Carl Wacker
Dr. Carl Wacker was raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Marquette University. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine–Illinois. Dr. Wacker is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Fox River Valley Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Wacker believes exceptional dentistry begins with genuine relationships. His philosophy is centered on creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, valued, and confident in their care. By combining comprehensive, patient-focused treatment with a commitment to education and open communication, he strives to empower every patient to achieve a beautifully healthy smile that lasts a lifetime.
Outside the office, Dr. Wacker enjoys flying and restoring remote-controlled aircrafts, caring for his two pet axolotls, and exploring local ice cream shops with his fiancée. Whether he's perfecting a model airplane or helping patients smile with confidence, Dr. Wacker brings the same attention to detail, enthusiasm, and dedication to everything he does.

We had a wonderful experience at Smile Obsession Carol Stream. My son had badly chipped his two front teeth in an accident, and the repair turned out amazing. Dr. Wacker was thorough, thoughtful, and genuinely caring.
