About Dr. Carlos E. Alvarez
I see myself as a mellow and friendly person, to whom family is the top priority. I am from the beautiful Venezuela, it truly is a spectacular place. Here I grew up and my best memories belong here, I specially recall my family’s farm down in the Amazon a place I had visited many times during my childhood years and I still do now days. It is a special place with the most amazing rivers and breathtaking views. I also enjoy the beach, especially when there are waves around, I love to surf, love music, love to play guitar. At present my favorite thing is spending time with my wife and kids but I still love and do the rest.
My dental education started back home and after completing dental school in 2005 and practicing for couple of years I then moved to San Diego, California the intention of continuing my education, it was quite a journey. I then moved to Puerto Rico with my family where I completed a Dental Residency also known as GPR, it is a very demanding general dentistry program which includes procedures you normally do in general dentistry plus some other more specialized treatments such as dental implants, periodontal surgery, IV sedations, pediatric dentistry and medically compromised patients with very delicate and severe medical conditions.
Dentistry is not only my vocation, it is also my passion and it is an important piece of the puzzle of health and health is one primordial thing in life.
As a dentist it is my responsibility to offer the best level of care with empathy, honesty and respect, we cannot be less than that, not even a bit less and there cannot be room for that in this field of work.
Being there to help others is a privilege I always wanted to have that. It is my priority to provide quality care to those who come and rely on me.
