About Dr. Carolyn Mauterer

A self-proclaimed “enamel hugger,” Dr. Carrie is honored to help her patients attain a high level of health, beauty, and well-being. She states, “My goal for all of my patients is to help them understand all of their options. I talk with every one of my patients about their health, their needs, their busy lives, and their financial concerns, and we find solutions together that suit each individual patient.” If you hear singing, it is no doubt Dr. Carrie serenading the children who grace her chair. It not only calms our kiddos, but in many cases, you will hear the children humming along as they are coached through their appointments. Her repertoire ranges from Sesame Street songs to Star Wars' Imperial March, depending on the song requests of her patients. Born in Evanston, Illinois, Dr. Carrie lived north of Chicago throughout her youth. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she was heavily involved in many leadership positions, including class president for two years and president of her school's American Student Dental Association chapter. Dr. Carrie is married to her husband Jason, a custom woodworker. They are the proud parents of five boys as well as caretakers of eight hens. Their home life cacophony also includes three bunny rabbits and one cat. In her free time (what's that?!?), she enjoys reading, gardening, and being outdoors with her family.
