“As read I read before Dr Woo is the orthodontist and does not perform regular dentistry. Dr Shah examined my teeth and hygienists did a deep cleaning. Everyone was great, very nice, very patient especially because there was a little confusion in the beginning. My son who is 9 was seen and had his cleaning as well. We are going back for a couple of fillings for him, I'll write more about that. But so far he was very happy too!”

About Dr. Catherine Woo
Dr. Woo is a Board Certified Orthodontist -- making her one of only a third of Orthodontists to receive this distinction. This additional certification, along with her extensive experience treating complex and surgical Invisalign and Orthodontic cases, ensures that she will be able to handle any of your concerns.
Dr. Woo earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and dental degrees from prestigious Columbia University. While at Columbia she was selected as one of 7 residents out of hundreds of applicants to the prestigious three year orthodontics program at Columbia University. She was trained in conventional straight wire, Invisalign, Damon, temporary anchorage devices (TADs), and multi-disciplinary techniques, among others. She has successfully treated a great variety of difficult cases, including severe open bites, crossbites, overbites, underbites, and surgical cases.
Dr. Woo, Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, (the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists), is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, North Eastern Society of Orthodontics, and the Bronx County Dental Society. In her spare time, she loves to discover new restaurants, enjoys a good outdoor workout, and cooking up a good meal with friends and family.
Dr. Woo was raised in the suburbs of New Jersey and Taipei, Taiwan but moved to New York City for higher education. Consequently, Dr. Woo has always enjoyed diverse cultures and integrating with new people. This enjoyment translates everyday for the unique opportunities her patients present and allows her to find individualized and creative ways to help her patients achieve their goals.
