Dr. Charlene R. Brown is the owner and General Dentist of Brookhaven Dental Group, a boutique dental practice in Brookhaven/North Atlanta, Ga. specializing in comprehensive dental care. Dr. Brown is a native of New Orleans, LA but has called Atlanta “home” for nearly two decades. The earlier years of her professional career are marked with extensive business management and consulting positions at some of the country’s top Fortune 500 companies. Despite her successful years in Corporate America, something was missing. The passion and love for dentistry that she held close could no longer be denied. In 2011, Dr. Brown made the decision to leave behind her consulting career to pursue dentistry. This decision was not an easy one. Not only was she embarking on a complete career change, but she would be entering an arena that most of her peers entered fresh out of undergrad. Never backing down from a challenge, the transition to student took her back to her hometown of New Orleans, where she attended Louisiana State University’s School of Dentistry. In 2015, Dr. Brown received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Shortly after her return to Atlanta, Brookhaven Dental Group was created.
