About Dr. Christopher Drennen

***Please note that you will be expected to pay out of pocket if your insurance plan is out of network*** Dr. Christopher Drennen is a Board-Certified Periodontist who has treated thousands of patients over his 10+ years of practice. Originally from Brooklyn, NY from a Sicilian-Irish household, he grew up in Coral Springs and graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He has received a Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists in addition to many other recognitions attained while serving as class president throughout all four years of dental school NSU-CDM. After attaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree and Florida license to practice, Dr. Drennen pursued a post-graduate residency in Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine and was trained during his three-year residency in practicing comprehensive periodontal treatment, along with training in dental implant surgery. His clinical research investigated differences in clinical and histological characteristics between Nobel Biocare NobelActive and NobelReplace dental implants. Dr. Drennen is published in the April 2012 issue of Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry through his research with colleagues entitled, 'A Modified Ridge Expansion Technique in the Maxilla.' He has lectured at the Florida Association of Periodontists (FAP) meeting, and is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Recognized Specialty of the American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Drennen enjoys spending time with his family and playing the guitar & piano. He is fluent in English & Spanish, but can also speak conversational Romanian & Italian.
