Dr. Claudia McDaniel is an American-Brazilian dentist who earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Federal University of Espírito Santo in Brazil in 2009 and from the University of Minnesota in 2019. She is passionate about dentistry and committed to providing comprehensive care for her patients. Her goal is to help patients achieve a healthy mouth and their dream smile. Practicing dentistry in beautiful sunny Florida has been a dream come true. She enjoys sharing that dream with her patients, treating them like family by helping them feel informed, relaxed, and confident throughout their treatment.
Dr. McDaniel enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with an emphasis on aesthetic dentistry, clear aligners, and oral surgery. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese—her native language—she loves to travel and spend time with her family in her spare time. The entire praxis looks old and rundown. Front desk is almost condescending. I was applying a primary and secondary insurance. This cost "the grand dame de front desk" to nearly collapse.
The dentist room was equipped with yellow turned former white machinery. The hygienist tried to sell the most expensive product. And so did the dentist. She tried to tell me that I had a filling in my front tooth. Even after telling her my front teeth had never a procedure. She insisted I did. The x-ray was done very old fashioned and the assistant all wear street clothes. No scrubs.
My suggestion to the dentist.
Try it with a smile and try not to be a downtalking arrogant Diva. And to the hygienist, you are not a dentist and I don't want to hear what you think my condition is, coupled with a product sales pitch.
