About Dr. Courtney Thompson
With a warm personality, a passion for family-focused care, and years of clinical experience, Dr. Thompson brings both heart and expertise to our practice. She is the dentist at our Ahwatukee location.
Born and raised in Kentucky, Dr. Thompson always had a deep-rooted desire to help others. Her academic journey led her to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2017. Since then, she has practiced general and family dentistry with a strong commitment to preventive care, patient education, and building meaningful relationships with patients of all ages.
Dr. Thompson recently relocated to Arizona with her family, drawn to the beautiful landscapes and abundant opportunities for outdoor activities. She and her husband, Wes, are the proud parents of three wonderful children: River, Nolan, and Everly. Their family also includes their Yorkie, Bailey, who brings plenty of energy and cuddles to their home.
Family is at the heart of everything Dr. Thompson does—both personally and professionally. She is passionate about making dental visits a positive, stress-free experience for children, adults, and seniors alike. Whether it’s a child’s first dental check-up or a restorative procedure for an adult patient, she takes the time to ensure every individual feels cared for, understood, and informed. Her calm demeanor, gentle touch, and clear communication make her a trusted provider for families seeking compassionate dental care.
Outside the office, Dr. Thompson is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, running, and exploring new trails with her family—one of the main reasons they chose Arizona as their new home. She’s always on the lookout for family-friendly activities and hidden gems in the community, embracing every opportunity to create lasting memories with her children.
