About Dr. David Moreno
Hailing from Sugar Land, Houston, Dr. Moreno is a proud 2018 graduate of the UT School of Dentistry, infusing his dental practice with a blend of disciplined teamwork and a fervent commitment to community engagement. Beyond dentistry, he finds joy in various pursuits, including his love for animals, gaming, and unwavering support for the Astros. Dr. David Moreno was raised in the Sugarland area in Houston, Texas. A graduate of Kempner High School in 2010, he ventured to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque for his undergraduate studies. Returning to Houston, he pursued his passion for dentistry at the UT School of Dentistry, culminating in his graduation in 2018.
Dr. Moreno's path into dentistry took an intriguing turn during his junior year of college when he, inspired by his dentist sister, became actively involved in a dental association. This pivotal decision set the stage for his future in the dental profession.
Starting at the age of 16, Dr. Moreno honed his people skills by working with children at a summer camp and continued doing so every summer for five years. This early experience instilled in him the importance of connecting with young patients, a philosophy that has become integral to his current dental practice.
A former college baseball player, Dr. Moreno brings a disciplined and team-oriented approach to his profession. When not immersed in the dental world, he cherishes weekends spent outdoors with his fiancée, JoAnn, and their families. Beyond his professional and personal commitments, Dr. Moreno is a fervent animal lover, a gaming enthusiast, and an avid supporter of the Astros.

Dr Moreno saw my baby boy and was super gentle with him. I loved his chair side manner and work ethic! + he speaks Spanish so it’s a plus! He specializes in working with kids so he was super gentle and understanding when he was in the patient chair.
