About Dr. David Shannon

Dr. Shannon is originally from Columbus and is a fellow alumnus of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Before joining us, he practiced dentistry in Akron. He loves the dental field because he says he enjoys solving the puzzle of what treatment a patient needs to restore their oral health and getting them out of pain - especially those who come in hating dental visits and leave feeling relieved and comfortable to return. Dr. Shannon also says he’s excited to be part of a community and culture that's about service and delivering the best care possible in an environment where everyone matters. Dr. Shannon loves meeting new people and learning about their life experiences. He has lived in Idaho, California, and Wisconsin and spent two years doing mission work in Guatemala, where he met a group of dentists who got him interested in a career in dentistry. Dr. Shannon currently lives in Perrysburg with his wife and two daughters. He loves to be active and outdoors. In his free time, you can find him hiking, skiing, boating, or golfing. He also participates in Spartan races and triathlons.
