About Dr. David Walker

Dr. David “Collins” Walker was born and raised in Columbia, SC. He attended Satchel Ford Elementary, Crayton Middle, and AC Flora High School. Local to the area where he is now practicing, Dr. Walker is excited to develop personal relationships with patients in the community he was raised. Dr. Walker attended Clemson University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2018. Upon graduation, Dr. Walker attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he started his journey of becoming a dentist. In 2023, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Walker opted to continue his training with a general practice residency at PRISMA Health Richland in Columbia, SC. There, he was trained in sedation dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and general restorative dentistry. Dr. Walker is always seeking out further dental training through continuing education courses. As a member of Greater Columbia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, and American Dental Association, Dr. Walker stays up to date with the latest advancement in general dentistry. Dr. Walker shares his life with his wife, Rachel, whom he recently married in June of 2024. Together, they restored a 1950s home and settled in the downtown Columbia area. During his free time, Dr. Walker enjoys tackling a DIY project, playing golf, doing yardwork, or fishing along the South Carolina coast. As a member of the Family Dental Health team, Dr. Walker provides services such as IV sedation, surgical implant dentistry, wisdom teeth extractions, cosmetic dental treatment, and other comprehensive dental care
