Overall negative experience. Scheduled a cleaning but was not informed they don't do cleanings on first visit - instead they took about 20 x-rays of my teeth, then told me to come back the next day for a cleaning and filling. When I returned the next day, after my cleaning I was asked to move to a different room for the filling. I sat down my bag and asked if I could run to the bathroom first - I was told it was fine, but when I returned 2 minutes later, another patient had been placed in that room and my bag was still in there. I was then asked to go wait in the lobby, where I waited for half an hour before being brought back AGAIN for the filling. When I was finally brought back for the filling, the topical numbing agent was placed and then I was left waiting for another 30 minutes - until the agent was no longer numbing at all. When the dentist arrived she quickly reapplied the topical and then gave lidocaine shots, which were very painful as my gums hadn't numbed. Would NOT return.

I was nervous to get fillings done because I’ve never had them before. Dr Peterson was really communicative which helped me relax to feel like I knew what was going on. While I haven’t had fillings done, compared to orthodontal work I’ve had she was definitely more gentle! She used multiple types of numbing agents so the type that stings quite a bit wouldn’t go in first. I was super numb but it definitely seemed like she was working very precisely and delicately. She ended up recommending I get more filled than she originally thought. She described my options and I didn’t feel pressured to get more than what was necessary filled.
