About Dr. DeMarquis Loyd
Dr. DeMarquis Loyd attended dental school at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014 and subsequently completed a general practice residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2015. Dr. Loyd stays up-to-date on the latest treatment techniques through multiple continuing education courses each year in order to ensure that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care possible. He is a member of several professional organizations including:
American Dental Association
National Dental Association
As a dentist, Dr. Loyd’s goal is to provide excellent comprehensive dental care to his patients in a friendly and comfortable environment. His commitment to patient education shines through in his ability to explain treatment needs to patients. He helps to make patients aware of the status and importance of their oral health as well as understand the connection between their oral and overall health. Dr. Loyd works diligently to provide his patients with a comfortable, genuine experience with a focus on solutions for dental issues and concerns and ensuring that their comprehensive dental needs are met. Outside of the office, Dr. Loyd loves spending time with family, friends, and his fur baby, Brandy. What an incredible find! The service at Resilient Dental Lounge is top-notch. Every person I interacted with—the front desk staff, the hygienist, and the dentist—was professional, friendly, and excellent. They were extremely efficient; I was seen right away with no wait time and my appointment felt perfectly managed. The Dr and staff were great. I've had two problems with dentists in Abilene and it has been 25+ years that I saw one. I was treated very well and had little to NO anxiety, which was not the case in Abilene. You Doc have put together an incredible staff......Thank you so much. See you next week!!

The office contacted me immediately to confirm my appointment and go over all of my insurance information and concerns. They got me in almost immediately and, although they were running behind that day, they respected my biggest concern, my financial situation. The dentist himself did my cleaning which I have never experienced in my life. The entire staff was so kind and gentle. The office was clean, and they had extremely up to date technology. They were HONEST and did not try to pressure me or upsell me like my previous dentist. They were realistic about my finances and prioritized a treatment plan that I didn't make me leave the office having an anxiety attack. Highly recommend!
