About Dr. Dmitry Dolgov
Dr. Dmitry Dolgov is an airway-centered, functionally focused dentist with advanced training in proper jaw development, airway health, and sleep-related breathing disorders. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Western University of Health Sciences in California. His clinical approach emphasizes the relationship between oral structures, breathing, sleep quality, and long-term wellness, with a focus on identifying and addressing root airway concerns rather than simply managing symptoms. Dr. Dolgov works with both children and adults, using conservative, evidence-informed strategies to support healthy growth, function, and overall health.
In addition to his formal education, Dr. Dolgov has completed extensive advanced training in dental sleep medicine and airway-focused care. He holds a Dental Sleep Medicine Certification through the American College of Sleep Dentistry and Dentistry and is trained in noninvasive airway development and sleep support therapies, including pediatric and adult-focused protocols. His continuing education includes advanced airway and sleep mentorship, pediatric airway training, and Fotona laser dentistry, including NightLase® therapy. Dr. Dolgov is deeply committed to ongoing education to ensure his patients receive thoughtful, up-to-date, and clinically sound airway- and sleep-centered care.

It was awesome! Dr. Dolgov was very detail and caring for my daughter. Dr. Dolgov explain the importance of oral health and proper airway. I am very happy and exiced to have-started my daughter with the Vivos treatment!

My experience at The Dentist Lounge was incredible - from the initial confirmation call until I left my appointment. Everyone is very knowledgeable and I appreciated the amount of time they took to explain everything & walk me through the process. I highly recommend for anyone looking for dental work in the LA area.

I came in for routine cleaning and check-up. I met Dr. Dolgov, who was extremely professional and thorough. He discussed with me a range of my dental issues including my overbite and jaw pain. I didn’t feel rushed and he made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Will definitely recommend this practice to anyone!!
