About Dr. Emile Waked

Hi! My name is Emile Joseph Waked (pronounced Wake-ed), and I’ve practiced dentistry on the Central Coast since 2002. In 1996, I graduated from dental school in Europe and came to UCLA to further my education in cosmetic and implant dentistry. In 1999, I graduated with a fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. I started my career as an Associate Professor at UCLA, educating and training dentists, dental students, and hygiene students. During that time I also had an opportunity do some research, on which I was able to lecture and publish nationally and internationally. In 2002, I became enchanted with the Central Coast and moved to Santa Maria and have been practicing dentistry here ever since. I am a father of four—Andrea, Joseph, Christian and Natalia—all of whom born in Santa Maria. I enjoy spending time with my family, helping our local Girl and Boy Scouts, and being a member of Knights of Columbus at St. Louis De Monfort. I am also a wine enthusiast and love to produce my own wines as a hobby. If you’re ever out and about around the Central Coast, you may catch me riding my bicycle on one of our scenic roads, or shooting trap in our local club. I work hard to provide the very best dental care possible, which means caring about my patients, getting to know them personally, and always having an open-door policy when it comes to communication.
