Dr. Chen earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she trained extensively in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Her passion for dentistry stems from her commitment to improving patients’ oral health while enhancing their confidence through beautiful, healthy smiles.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society, keeping up with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technology. Dr. Chen is particularly interested in patient education, preventive care, and minimally invasive dentistry, ensuring long-term oral health for her patients.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Chen has a strong background in leadership and service. She co-founded Michigan State University’s chapter of Blueprints of Pangaea, nonprofit that redistributes surplus medical supplies to underserved communities, demonstrating her commitment to healthcare access and global outreach. The office staff are very friendly and explain things that I needed to know. Dr. Chen was very patient and listened to what my problem was and explained what I need to be aware of and how to maintain dental health. The only flaw is that the wait time today was a bit long; it feels like a busy day for them, so it's understandable. Overall, a great dental clinic.
