About Dr. Erin Bangcrooks
As a general family dentist, I believe dentistry is about more than healthy smiles-it's about building lasting relationships based on trust, compassion, and exceptional care. Outside of the office, my husband of 23 years and I are proud parents to our 17 year old daughter. Our family also includes two beloved rescue dogs who keeps life fun. In many ways, Ivy Dentistry is my other baby- a place created with the vision of making every patient feel comfortable, valued and at home.
We proudly accept most major dental insurance plans and combine compassionate care with the latest advancements in dental technology. Our office features state-of-the-art CBCT imaging, digital scanning, and intraoral scanner, all which allow us to diagnose accurately, plan treatments precisely, and provide a more comfortable patient experience. I went in for first appointment, a dental cleaning. Before the hygienist saw me, Dr. Bang-Crooks sat down and went through my x-rays with me. She couldn't locate a crown I had done just a few months before, even with the x-ray. I was okay with it but then I met the hygienist. Who wasn't a hygienist! She told me she was on her first day of duty after 5 weeks at a DENTAL ASSISTING program. She was shaking like a leaf and could not turn on the polisher. Then she didn't feel comfortable getting in my mouth and asked me to polish my own teeth in a circular manner. I couldn't get out fast enough. Nice girl, but not a hygienist or a doctor. Scary.
