“They have a GREAT staff, Dr. Barbosa is a great dentist.
I am so impressed that I would even travel 30 miles to go to this dentist! Just a little heads up, last year I went to Liberty Dental on that side of town and they quoted me $12,000+ and this is when I was on Medicaid..? but $12,000 to correct all the problems I had with my teeth..? Dr Barbosa was very honest and advised there's certain things that can't be done/corrected because of the years of going without having repair. So, basically if anything I'm going to be coming out of pocket around $400 for what I need done... Nothing has changed over the last year since I went to Liberty Dental not like my teeth shifted or anything like that but Dr Barbosa was super honest with me and I really appreciate that. So, if anybody wants to have a really good, HONEST dentist and GREAT staff and doesn't mind traveling to Jones & Lake Mead (worth it!), I would suggest going to them they are freakin' awesome! ??”

First time patient, the receptionist was very cool, her tone, demeanor, vibe, very cool. The Wongfu I think that’s her name. She doesn’t really listen at all, and a lil closed minded. She really didn’t understand the Value of being able to show examples of previous work the Dentist has done in the past. As I tried to explain she kind went into Stepford mode: The Blank Smile. The constant ( uh-huh ), with her head cocked to the side, and the blank stare. I gave up at that point.
I was there for X-rays 230 was the time of appt, I didn’t get out til like 420.
Bed side manor was kinda eeehhhh, I got my email for the plan. I am gonna read over it. It’s something that is very important to me, and I need to get done. I am just really not sure about this place, I still have healing to do from my extraction done 2 weeks ago, hopefully I feel different about this place, and allow them to do the work. It’s a priority to me to get done.

While living in California, I had a VERY traumatic visit at the dentist. Subsequently, I avoided all dental offices for years. My appointment with Dr. Barbosa today was exceptional from the moment I made initial contact with the receptionist, followed by hygienist and Dr. Barbosa. All staff patiently listened to my concerns and were very attentive. Dr Barbosa throughly explained my circumstances upon reviewing my xrays etc. He formulated a treatment plan, explaining in great detail. Dr Barbosa effectively erased my uneasy. His bedside manners allowed me to relax with reassurance that I was in great hands. So THANKFUL....I did not feel a thing unbearable as he performed my extraction. I have been running AWAY from dentist for years. Dr Barbosa has me willfully coming back to carry out our treatment plan. Thanks a million to Dr E. Barbosa and all of his wonderful staff. ??

I felt like they tried to upsell me more than other dentists I have been to. Overall, cleaning was straightforward - about 30 minutes. Outside of the cleaning, everything took a really long time and I felt like time with the actual doctor was really limited and didn't help me understand very much.

My first impression exceeded my expectations. The office staff, as well as the hygienist were very thorough. Dentist Barbosa was personable, direct and honest—which I could appreciate. So glad I found this office.

This visit was THE BEST I have ever experienced in my 51 years! I have had A LOT of dental work in the past. My dentist retired, so I was forced to find another one. I was scared, to say the least. Dental work is not pleasant. So, I got on Zocdoc and found him. I swear - that was my lucky day! The staff is awesome, too! HUGE BONUS! Thank you, Doctor!

My awesome dentist in henderson is no longer local. I love the entire staff here!! I believe i am very fotunate to have found them!! I am 74 yrs old and a tooth/teeth freak with all of my own, i could not be happier and more trusting in Drs Barbosa and the excellent staff they have hired!

I unfortunately did not have the great experience other reviews led me to believe I'd have. While the dental assistant was wonderful and the overall kindness of staff appreciated, I didn't actually get the services I'd come for. If you're not willing to pursue extreme care at your own expense, you won't have a pleasant time. I could not afford to do the recommended deep cleaning and hoped to at least get a regular cleaning that was covered by insurance until I was in a better position to afford it, but they refused to even simply clean the surface of my teeth. I was disheartened after being really hopeful to find a dentist I could be comfortable with. They pushed for the more consuming service and wouldn't even give thought to handling the basics. All I have to show for the time spent there is some pictures and nice conversation with the assistant. I wouldn't recommend to family or friends because they don't even pretend to work with you and your current needs.

I have severe dental phobia, and Dr. Barbosa was compassionate and understanding, and explained each step and made me feel totally at ease. What a wonderful doctor and staff. Highly recommend!
