About Dr. Francisco Suarez Esser
Dr. Francisco Suarez Esser is a highly accomplished dental professional. After two years in private practice, he moved to Miami, Florida, to pursue specialized training in oral surgery, earning his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Intern certificate from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Suarez then completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he distinguished himself as Chief Resident during the 2015-2016 academic year. Following his graduation, he was invited to join the faculty at the University of Connecticut as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the AEGD Program. In this role, he was instrumental in mentoring and teaching residents advanced techniques in general dentistry, sharing his expertise and passion for the field.
After seven years as a faculty member at UConn, Dr. Suarez embarked on a new chapter in private practice by acquiring a fantastic dental practice in Simsbury. There, he provides high-quality dental care to families in the Farmington Valley and adjacent towns. He continues to mentor residents at UConn as a Volunteer Faculty member and actively participates in Connecticut’s Mission of Mercy. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Hartford Dental Society.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Suarez is a dedicated husband and father of two daughters. He cherishes spending time with his family and enjoys staying active in his spare time, engaging in activities such as running, fishing with his daughters, golfing with friends, and playing the piano. A triathlon enthusiast, he has completed two full-distance Ironman Triathlons as well as numerous medium and short-distance races.
