He reviewed the reasons he felt Talia would benefit from treatment and discussed the different options for braces and Invisalign and their pros and cons. We had gone to another office on the Upper West Side for a consultation before a friend recommended Central Park Orthodontics, but Talia felt so comfortable with Dr.Pliakas and is excited to get her braces, so we made an appointment to get started with him next week. The office is beautiful and super clean, and the receptionist, Helen, was very helpful in setting up a payment plan that would maximize our insurance benefits and our FSA account. I just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr, Pliakas and I am in love with the results. I can't stop smiling. My teeth look great and the whole process was so easy. I did a lot of research to find a good orthodontist and I am so happy I found Dr. Pliakas. Every visit was a delight. Helen at the front desk is very nice and helpful and Dr. Pliakas is extremely knowledgeable and professional. My kids might need braces in a few years and I will return to Dr. Pliakas without a doubt!

Prior to selecting Dr. Pliakas, I had met with two other orthodontists and there was no comparison. Best decision ever. I had Invisalign treatment and my teeth have never looked or felt better.

After completing two other consultations for braces I scheduled a consultation (with ease using Zoc Doc) with Dr. Pliakas. At this point I was tired from doing research and disappointed by the diagnosis from the other doctors. I am thrilled that I decided to meet with Dr. Pliakas and his team! From the initial consult I knew that this treatment plan was the one! The office is conveniently located on the upper westside (and its beautiful space.) Dr. Pliakas gave a clear and thorough explanation of all of my options and specific recommendations for my case. Helen handled all of my financial and administrative concerns with perfection! Affordable pricing, especially for the NYC metro area. Please schedule your consultation, you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Pliakas, does great work! He replaced the permanent retainer on my top teeth after I came in with it basically mangled from years of abuse. He replaced the whole thing for a really reasonable price and then guaranteed the work for a full year. So, when I came back in with a loose binding 5 months later after a run in with a nasty baguette, he fixed me up for free and had me on my way in a swift 20 minutes. The office is clean and professional, and the wonderful woman at the front desk is always warm and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Pliakas and Central Park Orthodontics!

Dr. Pliakas is a great orthodontist and I am glad I trusted him with my teeth (the orthodontic treatment is for myself as an adult, not my kids). He is very professional and well experienced. His clinic is very clean and staff super friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a board-certified orthodontist. He will definitely give you and your kids a beautiful smile!

The office is brand new and very nice. I was told they moved into the space in June 2015. I felt rates were reasonable and reception was very helpful to plan my payments around my insurance plan. Given the location on Central Park West, cost had been a concern of mine. I am happy I made this choice!

Dr. George is extremely patient and explained my treatment plan. He made sure that I understood everything that is being done. I already see major changes in my smile. This is my second time in orthodontic treatment and the previous results are nothing compared to my current results. I would recommend all of my family and friends to him to transform their smile =)
