Dr. Gustavo Lopez was born in Colombia and spent most of his life in Tampa, Florida where he completed his undergraduate education at the University of South Florida (graduating with honors). He continued his education at New York University College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (graduating with honors). Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Lopez completed a General Practice Residency program at Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of New York University School of Medicine, where he honed his skills in Cosmetic and General Dentistry.
Dr. Lopez approaches dentistry with a patient-first mentality, providing a comfortable experience where patients can not only learn about their oral health, but also how to take control and improve their overall health. He has a fine eye for details, creating exceptional clinical results that are aesthetically pleasing for his patients. Understanding that no two smiles are same, Dr. Lopez focuses on creating personalized treatment plans to meet the goals and needs of his patients. The customer service at Sky Dental was excellent. Dr. Gustavo and the office staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and nonjudgmental. The office is clean and is in a great location. I would highly recommend this practice to others.
