About Dr. Haley Kim
Dr. Hwajeong Kim is a General Dentist born and raised in Cary, NC. After graduating from Apex High School, she attended UNC Chapel Hill.
During two gap years, Dr. Kim volunteered at Wake Smiles and worked as a dental assistant in general and pediatric dental offices. She went on to obtain her DDS degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
Currently living in Raeford, NC, Dr. Kim is the oldest of three daughters. Outside of her dental practice, she enjoys weightlifting, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. Her passion for dentistry was sparked during a medical/dental mission trip, and community service has remained central to her career. She spent summers in high school and college volunteering for mission trips to Mexico, Singapore, and South Korea and led her dental school's first post-COVID service trip to Guatemala.
Dr. Kim finds inspiration in the need for dentistry and loves the technical and artistic aspects of her work.
