“I have been having serious that my last dentist did not catch in more than likely caused. The tooth under my crown broke and is infected and I believe it happened the last time my previous dentist had to put it back on because it came off several times. This dentist did a very thorough examination and showed me what was wrong and immediately came up with a plan of action to address this. The staff was amazing, and the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was literally the best I have ever had!”

About Dr. Hanna Zharkina
Dr. Zharkina subsequently received her DDS degree from NYU College of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. Her post-doctoral training included completing a general practice residency at Brooklyn VA Harbor Health Center, where she developed her passion for prosthetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Zharkina completed an Advanced Prosthodontic Residency at NYU College of Dentistry, where she earned her Certificate in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Zharkina was a recipient of the Award for the Best Poster Aesthetic Case Presentation at the Meeting of American College of Prosthodontists. She is highly trained in full mouth rehabilitations on teeth, implants and aesthetics. She is proficient in prosthodontics, restorative and surgical aspects of implant dentistry, occlusion, and dental materials. She remains up to date with the latest trends and developments in dental techniques by attending conferences in prosthodontics and other continuing education courses.

The kind staff of Carmen & Betsy at reception were amazing! Given Covid 19 they were able to setup my appointments that were very convenient.
The Doctor & her assistant Michele are the best. No pain No stress and great service. Dr Hanna was so kind to me and she went over & above to make this a great experience.
I recommend highly and the location is very convenient just off 34th Street.

I was displeased with my visit to Dr. Zharkina’s office because for starters it appeared that they wanted me to pay out of pocket for her services when I have insurance that covered my visit. The front desk clerk whose name I did not catch called me prior to me coming in for my visit to inform me that my insurance was inactive when in fact it was active. Upon arrival I was also charged an out of pocket fee for the x rays, when I’m never charged for x rays. Because I had a dental emergency and was desperate I gave in. Upon meeting Dr. Zharkina I did not feel she was warm and/or inviting. She did not even show me my X-rays nor did she explain to me why I needed to take the next steps in her recommendation for my dental emergency. She prescribed me antibiotics and ibuprofen and told me to return the next day which I did not. I was not comfortable with this visit at all. Her office then lied to ZocDoc and informed them that I missed my initial appointment when in fact I did not! I will not be returning. I should’ve listened to the Yelp reviews on this office!

She is super friendly and gets into all the questions in detail. That may be because I went into the office during COVID times, so there may have been less patients and spending more individualized attention on me. Regardless, her attitude towards answering my questions and concerns were superb. Definitely will go back every year for a check up with Dr. Zharkina! Thank you so much :)

This was my first visit. I never felt more comfortable in the care of anyone working on my mouth. It was a relaxed environment. Dr. Zharkina spoke in such a soft yet assertive manner and explained every concern thoroughly. Her private office is newly purchased so she has not put all of her furnishings in place but it was spotless and you would not be able to tell that she just moved in. Her staff was pleasant and warm welcoming.
