About Dr. Heather Hruskocy
Dr. Heather Hruskocy was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and is proud to be practicing dentistry in her favorite city. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!) and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hruskocy believes that patient education and communication are key to helping every patient experience a positive dental visit. She strives to dedicate time during each visit to provide details on procedures and treatment options, allowing patients to feel more comfortable about receiving dental care.
Although Dr. Hruskocy has spent the majority of her life living in the Midwest, she loves to travel and explore new cultures. She has volunteered in the medical and dental fields in Morocco and Jamaica. In her free time, she enjoys bringing her dog, Buddy, to the beach, exploring new restaurants around the city, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Hruskocy is very excited to become a member of the team at Freshworks Dental Studio and looks forward to serving the Freshworks community!

I decided to try this practice after having a really bad year with a dentist. Dr. Hruskocy (pronounced Ra-sko-see because I had trouble too) was really nice. Grace, was lovely to work with, explained everything, we chatted and really she was just a pleasure. There was no wait. The office was nice, clean and you can watch tv!
As Dr. H (I just decided thats easier) was working her and Grace explained everything, the staff was all very nice and accomodating even tho I was late (sorry again). They were not pushy or overly salesy just explained the facts. According to Grace and Dr. H they are going to make me flosser so if that happens you should be here too!

Very chill dentist, which is exactly what I needed. I hate when they're all doom and gloom about your teeth and Dr Hruskocy was the total opposite of that :) Office staff were super friendly as well. Great Place!

Both the dental hygienist and dentists were very professional. All of my concerns were addressed. Most dentists just run in & out of the appointment. However Dr. Hruskocy, spend a significant amount of time evaluating & treating my teeth, along with providing recommendations for my dental health. I felt very comfortable throughout my first dentist appointment at this location :)

Dr. Hruskocy is great. She's the first dentist I've had in the city that doesn't try to find $20,000 worth of work every time they go into my mouth. She'll tell you what you need, what you might need later, and some nice to haves. She's smart and super pleasant. The whole staff seems nice. And you get to wear cool grandma shades while you're being examined.
Would highly recommend. I feel like I've finally found my dentist in the city.

New to the area and this dentist, I was a little nervous. I had to wait in the lobby for only 5 minutes, staff were pleasant and helpful, Dr. Heather spent a lot of time talking with me, creating a plan not only to fix the tooth that was bothering me, but to preserve my smile for years to come. The only negative was the price tag, but I suppose that's par for the course with all medical these days. Would highly recommend.

I'm never wager to go to the dentist - let's be honest, who is? But Dr Hruskocy and the Freshworks team made my visit as comfortable as possible as a new patient. I was very impressed and will definitely refer my family and friends to Freshworks.
