About Dr. Heather Thorson

I really thrive in environments where I can work with and around people. So, I’d have to say one of my most favorite things about being a dentist is the relationships I’ve been able to create through my involvement in dentistry. I have a lot of interests within the field of dentistry, but one thing I’m particularly interested in is building relationships with my patients. I work hard to earn their trust. It is important to me for them to know I truly care about their entire wellbeing and their whole self, not just their smile. Dr. Thorsen is a Nebraska native who grew up in the small town of Mead, about twenty minutes West of Omaha. She met her husband in dental school and they married in Omaha. They have two dachshund pups to keep them busy. When they have free time, Dr. Thorsen and her husband love to travel, go hiking and biking, and attend farmer’s markets. They especially enjoy trying new donut shops together!
