About Dr. Holvin Louie

Dr. Louie attended both college and dental school at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) for eight consecutive years, obtaining his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate degrees. Subsequently, he completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) while concurrently working in private practice. Dr. Louie then earned his specialty certificate in Periodontics and his Master of Science (MS) degree from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Today, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Louie is also a proud member of several dental organizations, including the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Southwest Society of Periodontists, and the Dallas Asian Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Louie’s MS research involving titanium implants was presented onstage at an Academy of Osseointegration Annual Meeting.
