About Dr. Mapes
Dr. Mapes earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. He completed advanced residency training at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina, gaining expertise in implantology, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, IV sedation, and prosthodontics.
For over a decade, he has worked alongside some of New York City’s leading dentists while pursuing advanced training in functional occlusion, smile design, and cosmetic orthodontics, including Six Month Braces and Invisalign®.
Dr. Mapes values a personalized approach to care—recognizing that every patient is unique—and is dedicated to making each visit as comfortable as possible.
