Dr. Irina Jorgenson was born in Kiev, Ukraine and came to the United States at the age of 16.She graduated from UNC School of Dentistry, completed General Practice Residency at UNC Hospitals, completed training through American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and received training from the Aristotle Institute in IV sedation. Dr. Jorgenson is fluent in Russian language. Her memberships include American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and AmericanAcademy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She believes that clinical excellence is founded on continuous learning, and takes numerous courses to advance her clinical skills. Her area of concentration include comprehensive dental care under iv sedation, cosmetic dentistry and sleep medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Jorgenson enjoys spending time with her children, running, reading history books and spending time at the beach. Dr. Jorgenson strongly believes that dental care encompasses both clinical excellence and compassion and strives to foster trust and communication with patients. ‍
