About Dr. James Candon

Dr. Candon goes above and beyond every day to ensure that his patients truly love their dental work and that they feel genuinely comfortable throughout the treatment process. He looks forward to welcoming you soon! Dr. Candon completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont where he graduated with honors. He was then accepted into one of the top programs nationally at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, which happens to also be the first dental school in the world. It was here that he met his classmate and future wife, Lisa. Dr. Candon likes to joke that he loves dentistry so much that he married a dentist. While in dental school, he was president of the Academy of General Dentistry and was a member of the admissions committee selecting the future classes. Dr. Candon and his wife Lisa met in dental school and later moved here to be closer to family. They are proud parents to three children, daughters Caroline and Madelyn, and son James, as well as a very sweet Golden Retriever named Trout. Whenever he has free time, Dr. Candon enjoys spending time with family, playing with Trout, cooking, and going on hikes.
