About Dr. Janice Doan

Dr. Janice Doan practices general and cosmetic dentistry. Her goal is to give her patients a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Dr. Janice treats her patients as if they were her own family members. Using excellent communication skills, she explains dental procedures in a simple way so patients are fully informed about procedures and the results they should expect.
Dr. Janice received her Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of Southern California. Since graduating, she has completed a number of continuing education programs in a variety of subjects, including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatment), Invisalign and laser dentistry. She has also completed a dental implant fellowship and a surgical externship through the California Implant Institute.
Dr. Janice, along with Dr. Justene, was named a “Top 40 Under 40” dentist by Incisal Edge magazine. This honor is given to outstanding dental professional who are setting new benchmarks in their industry.

Dr Janice is hands down the best dentist Ive ever been to. I was on vacation here and needed a root canal and she saw me right away and eased my dental anxiety and made the experience so pleasant. She’s incredibly sweet, thorough, attentive and called and texted me to follow up. Overall was just the best experience at the dentist and i am so happy i went here!

I needed a root canal- first time ever. These are probably the worst procedure someone can have (and I’ve had a LOT or surgeries) as bad as it was- I couldn’t have asked for a better staff to have it done by. Friendly, caring, etc. highly recommend

Like many people, I have stubbornly avoided going to the dentist in the past. I never had a bad experience with a dentist, but I also never put a dentist appointment high on my priority list until absolutely necessary. That usually involves me being in some sort of pain that was highly preventable. Well, I wish I had know about A+ Family Dentistry and Dr. Doan earlier. I had a surprisingly pleasant experience during all phases of my appointment. From my first contact with the front desk reception, to the helpful insurance liaison, to the actual exam and treatment, and even post treatment follow-up; I felt I was treated like a VIP. Everyone I had contact with was friendly and accommodating. This was hands down the most pleasant dentistry experience I have ever had ... by a country mile. Absolutely great operation overall. I plan to recommend A+ Family Dentistry to all my friends and family.

Dentist and staff were courteous and professional. My only disagreement that will prevent my return is their business practices. They do a cursory exam that results in an accumulation of services that they try to sell you on. If you say that you aren't prepared to pay (in this case several thousand dollars) they then attempt to pitch you to apply for credit even when you have dental insurance. Should you try to talk about other options or try to piece meal any of the services listed they refuse to negotiate any further which results in the client to walk out without so much as a teeth cleaning.

Janice is an amazing dentist and human being. I chipped two teeth while on vacation. Because of the severity of the damage, I had to get a veneer, a crown, and a root canal. Normally this process would take at least a week, but because I was only in town for a few days, Dr. Janice not only was able to speed up the production of the crown and veneer, but when they came back and the color was slightly off, she personally DROVE me to the lab where the crowns were made and had them examine me and create more accurate replacements.
Over the course of just 3 days, I was able to get the root canal done and have the crown and veneer installed, and my teeth actually look even better than they did before. The whole time she and her staff were incredibly friendly and understanding. I would recommend this dentist to anyone!

One of the very best dental offices! The staff and doctors are very knowledgable & friendly, & make it a point to ensure the entire unit was comfortable for me. They all excelled in bedside manners and made great effort to ensure the best care possible was provided.

I couldn't be more happier, everything was awesome from the moment I step into their office to the follow-up care call to see if I was recovering properly. Dr. Janice was great, she treated me like family. I definitely will be recommending all my family members to this great dental office.
