About Dr. Jennina Townsend
Jennina Townsend is from the Colorado Springs area, where she grew up influenced by her stepfather, shadowing and assisting him in his private practice. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2008. Jennina has spent most of her career in public health dentistry, focusing on integrated care that combines dental, medical, and behavioral health. She thrives working with culturally diverse populations and has a passion for serving those with limited access to care. To support this mission, she has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Guatemala, and Peru to provide free dental care to those in need. Jennina also enjoys teaching part-time at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, exercising with her workout community, hiking, gardening, traveling, and camping.
