About Dr. JoAnna Bodea
Dr. Joanna Bodea attained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Because Dr. Bodea strives to provide high-quality and advanced care for her patients, she routinely enrolls in continuing education for implant restoration and all other cosmetic dentistry procedures. Her primary goal as a practitioner is to build strong relationships with her patients based on trust, confidence, and assurance. Dr. Bodea's safe and caring methods help restore and maintain her patients' dental health in a gentle environment. She is sincere, honest, diligent, and empathetic.
Following her graduation, Dr. Bodea completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. This was an extremely selective program providing an additional year of intensive training and experience in patient care management, handling complex dental cases in crown and bridge, veneers, root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, and implant dentistry. Dr. Bodea has been enriching and strengthening her capabilities and skills by attending continuing education courses including MaxiCourse®, and training in one of the most advanced programs in implant dentistry in the country. These courses and training programs were taught by renowned university faculty, world-class clinicians, and the country's top authorities in implant dentistry. She is also an active participant in organizations such as Women in Dentistry. These experiences help Dr. Bodea keep pace with the most recent scientific advancements, procedures, and equipment in dentistry. Furthermore, when Dr. Bodea is not treating her patients, she enjoys traveling, hiking, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

I visited this dentist and dental practice (North Atlanta Family Dentistry) as I recently moved to Atlanta and needed to go for my annual checkup. I will not be going back and will continue my search for a good dentist in Atlanta.

From beginning to end, everyone I came into contact with was wonderful. I was very nervous knowing I had to have teeth pulled, and I also carry a lot of shame regarding the state of my teeth. The doctor and staff made me feel at ease and even held my hand when my anxiety was spiking. I've never had such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this dental office!

A caring, kind and skilled dentist who is multi lingual and studied not only in the USA, but Europe as well. Her skillset is not only patient care, but to help her the patient have a beautiful smile and healthy care for your teeth directly relate to your general health. I am so happy Dr. Bodea is my dentist.
