About Dr. John Totera
Dr. John Totera brings his wealth of experience and expertise to Sage Dental, joining us from New Jersey. He obtained his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, in 1983. Before that, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA.
With over four decades of private practice under his belt, Dr. Totera has not only honed his skills but also served as a mentor to many young dentists throughout his career. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
For Dr. Totera, dentistry is both an art and a science, and his passion for the field is evident in the care he provides to his patients. Having relocated to Florida with his family, he is actively involved in his church and is a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Totera specializes in Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, creating beautiful smiles for his patients. He is also certified in injectables such as Botox and Fillers, expanding his repertoire of services. By participating in continued education seminars, he ensures he remains up-to-date in all disciplines of dentistry, delivering the highest level of care to his patients and their families. Dr. Totera strives to make each visit comfortable and provides a positive experience for all.

Really liked Dr John T. Was very professional and seemed genuinely interested in resolving my problem. The dental assistants apparently did a poor job with my temporary crown. It barely lasted 24 hours before it loosened and came out.
