About Dr. Jose Lopez
Dr. Jose Lopez recently relocated to Boulder after leaving a very successful practice in Puerto Rico, which he owned since 1999. He and his wife Coraly, selected beautiful Colorado to provide better care and education for their two-year-old daughter Sophia, who has Down Syndrome. They are excited to be a part of the Boulder community and to enjoy the gorgeous weather, trips to the mountains, and everything else Boulder has to offer. Dr. Lopez and Coraly have fallen in love with the city, and Dr. Lopez is thrilled to be your dentist.
The philosophy of Dr. Lopez’s practice is focused on prevention and helping you achieve optimal oral health. He instills everyone on his team with the same dedicated desire to meet every need of each patient that comes through the doors. As a dentist always looking to the future and learning new things, Dr. Lopez is excited to implement an advanced cancer screening technology through Identafi. This service will be offered at no charge during your regularly scheduled check-ups, part of his commitment to preventative dentistry!
Dr. Jose Lopez has completed advanced training in a variety of areas since acquiring his Doctorate degree in 1999 at Marquette University in Wisconsin. At Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, he offers additional dental services such as surgical extractions, placing and restoring implants, periodontal surgery, root canal therapy, and orthodontic Invisalign in Boulder, CO.

Very nice staff, clean office. Dental hygienist I saw was amazing. I get very nervous and difficult during a cleaning but she was so patient and careful. She made me feel very comfortable, and was a great communicator. This place is the first dentist’s office that I’ve ever felt relaxed at because of her!
