About Dr. Joseph Mejia

Joseph Mejia, D.D.S is a general dentist practicing in Cape Coral. After practicing in the East coast of Florida, he decided to join Dr. Walter Bicknese at Elite Coral Dentistry. Dr. Mejia completed an Advance Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and a Fellowship program at the University of Connecticut. He also fulfilled an Implant Fellowship program from the University of Nevada. Dr. Mejia trained at the Pikos institute in Florida and took multiple implant courses in the United States and in Colombia. Dr. Mejia has completed hundreds of continued education courses in all aspects of general dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, root canal therapy (endodontics), dental extractions, fix and removable prosthesis, oral surgery, etc. His passion for dentistry and commitment to excellence will ensure that you enjoy outstanding oral care and wear a beautiful smile for a lifetime. Dr. Mejia gives back to his community by participating in volunteered activities such as the Florida Mission of Mercy which provides dental care to the under served population. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing tennis, travelling, and learning how to ski!
