About Dr. Joseph Moore

Dr. Joseph Moore was born and raised in Madison, GA. He is one of three boys and has an identical twin. Dr. Moore’s older brother is also a dentist, so Dr. Moore spent time shadowing him and working at his brother’s practice. He has always loved taking care of people and is very detail-oriented and meticulous. After learning more about the profession, he realized dentistry was the perfect fit for him. Dr. Moore attended the Dental College of Georgia (DCG) where he graduated with high honors. While at DCG, Dr. Moore won several prestigious awards, including the “Dolly Hearn Award.” This award was created to honor the life and memory of a former DCG student who left an amazing legacy. The award goes to a rising fourth-year dental student who embodies professionalism, empathy, and perseverance and is voted on by fellow classmates. Dr. Moore also received several scholarships for academic achievement and for being a team player. After graduating from DCG, Dr. Moore was accepted to a General Practice Residency. During his residency, he honed his clinical skills and learned how to perform more complex dental surgeries, including wisdom teeth removal, placement of dental implants, bone grafting, and administration of IV conscious sedation. Dr. Moore is honored and thankful to serve your dental needs. Outside of the office Dr. Moore is married to his wife, Carly, who grew up in Alpharetta. They live in Milton and have two daughters and two dogs. In his spare time, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with family, hiking, golfing, beekeeping, raising chickens, and cheering on the Dawgs!
