About Dr. Joshua Dobbins

Dr. Josh Dobbins is a native of southern New Hampshire. Afterwards, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Eager to gain additional experience, Dr. Josh completed a General Practice Residency at The University of Vermont Medical Center. During his residency, he thrived while working the shared trauma call for the hospital and is comfortable in managing dental emergencies and providing care for medically complex patients. While at UVM, he also trained closely with several specialists to broaden his scope of practice, including root canals and extractions. As an engineer by training, Dr. Josh enjoys problem solving and innovation. Dentistry allows Josh to do this every day, be it treatment planning a complex case or investigating new technologies to improve the overall patient experience. He is a certified Invisalign provider and looks forward to exploring more of what digital dentistry has to offer. Dr. Josh understands that seeking dental care can provoke anxiety for many patients. His goal is to provide patients with a comforting and calming environment to help alleviate any stress patients may experience while seeking dental care. As an Eagle Scout, he maintains a high ethical standard and is committed to always doing what is in the best interest of his patients. As an avid Bruins fan, Dr. Josh enjoys living in Southie with his fiancée Jenna. He loves spending time outdoors, playing ice hockey and golfing. He and Jenna are excited to be getting married in May of 2020.
