Dr. Craighead is currently the only dual specialist in Periodontics and Prosthodontics in the State of Florida, and one of just a handful of specialists in the entire world with certificates in both specialties. Dr. Craighead earned specialty certificates in Periodontics and Prosthodontics as well as a Fellowship certificate and Masters Degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Florida. In addition to residency training, he has completed extensive postgraduate implant education as a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute and Pikos Institute. He has since had the honor of being inducted as a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. As a specialist, Dr. Craighead has experience in treating a wide variety of cases from straightforward cases requiring single tooth replacement with crowns and dental implants, to patients needing comprehensive, multi-specialty full-mouth rehabilitation. In addition to private practice, Dr. Craighead actively gives lectures to other dental specialists teaching advanced techniques in dental implant surgery and tissue augmentation procedures.
