About Dr. Justin Kang
Skilled and compassionate, Dr. Justin T. Kang builds lasting relationships with his patients while providing exceptional dental care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and completed master's degrees in Periodontics and Public Health at Columbia University. Dr. Kang aims to understand his patients' individual needs and circumstances, collaborating closely with general dentists and other dental specialists to deliver optimal care. He employs cutting-edge technology such as the Waterlase Express? laser for minimally invasive treatment of periodontal disease and peri-implantitis, and the Pinhole Surgical Technique? for treating gum recession.
Dr. Kang furthers his education through research on dental implants, periodontal regeneration, and biomaterials. He serves as Clinical Advisor for Geistlich? Biomaterials, one of the largest global manufacturers of regenerative materials including bone grafts and collagen membranes. Additionally, he is a member of the e-Poster committee at the annual Academy of Osseointegration meeting, where he helps judge and award the most current and innovative clinical studies. His passion for esthetic dentistry and dental occlusion has led him to share lectures with post-graduate students at Penn Dental Medicine and Montefiore Prosthodontics, as well as at dental society meetings.
Outside the office, Dr. Kang enjoys exploring different cities and their cuisine with his wife, Sophia, and spending time with his parents and sister, who are a family of musicians. In college, he was a principal clarinetist. He also enjoys fantasy football and classical music.

My visit was very good. I am a white knuckler when it comes to any type of dentist work being done. Dr. Kang has been very patient and considerate of my fears. He has made me more relaxed with each visit.

I’m super thankful I found Dr. Kang! He was a highly recommended specialist. He treated me for a procedure and I cannot be happier with the results. He was extremely gentle and took the time to explain what the procedure entails and what to expect. The technology in the office was awesome too!

I had Tye as my hygienist and she was an absolute angel! I am totally terrified of going to the dentist (as I imagine most people are) but Tye made it so comfortable for me. She was super sweet and very clear with her directions. She constantly checked in to see that I was doing okay. It was a super smooth appointment and I will definitely be back to see her soon!

Dr.Kang and Dr.Cozzolino Also Dr.Gang were amazing ! They helped me with all of my issues. I can’t forget about the best hygienist in the world Tye. So gentle and kind had me laughing my whole visit. Took the fear right away. This is the best office overall ! Thank you

What an amazing dental team! Dr. Kang was very knowledgeable and officiant. Tye the dental hygienist was absolutely wonderful. Her kind demeanor made me instantly comfortable and relaxed. She went above and beyond to make my visit stress and worry free. It’s safe to say I found my new dental team.

I never thought that I would have something positive to say about the dentist. After finding Truyou dental, I was impressed with Dr. Kang's amazing experience and credentials when I read his bio. Not only is he the best of the best, he took his time listening to, and answering all of my questions and concerns. Ive been to many periodontists, having gum issues my whole life. Dr. Kang really made sure I understood everything, and the front staff and dental assistants really helped me feel at ease. The office is very clean and technologically modern. First time I ever felt like a person, and not just another name on a chart. I'm so glad to have found this office.
