Not sure of the name of the dentist I had this time around but she was the sweetest dentist I have ever had. So gentle and did a great job. Staff is always warm and friendly.
So far so good. Honest dentist who explained the procedure and also helped mitigate some of the charges because of the expensive procedure I needed.
I would highly recommend Dr. Kang! From start to finish, everyone I interacted with at the office was extremely friendly, and accommodating. Dr. Kang was patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Even though it was their last appointment before the weekend, all of the staff still made sure I had a pleasant visit. I will be back!
Super nice staff and doctor! Everyone was friendly, welcoming and made me feel very comfortable considering it was my first visit. The receptionist went out of his way to help me make some decisions that best fit my financial status since my insurance did not cover everything. Made me feel like they were real people instead of just out to make money. Definitely recommend!
I like the Doctor but not the assistant and I think they need to upgrade their machines.
Horrible!! Pulled my wisdom tooth and told me I would be fine without medication! I had to run back to the office in pain to get the doctor to give me a prescription for the pain but still refused to give me antibiotics! I'm now in bed running a fever and missing work!! Stay away from this place!!
The entire staff was very accommodating, James up front was very kind and friendly. Even the other dentists came by to greet and welcome me. Dr. Kang was very friendly and provided humor as well to keep my nervous feelings down. From placing an appointment to treatment was a breeze. I came during my lunch time and the whole appointment took only 40 minutes to complete. I went for a x ray and cleaning. Will recommend to friends and family as well as coworkers.
Super friendly dentist office.
Hands down the best first appointment I've ever had, anywhere. I went in immediately after finishing paperwork and I never waited for anything. I was very impressed with the modern equipment and digital x-rays, and even more impressed with the incredibly friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended! :)
I typically hate the dentist, and this has so far been the best experience I've ever had. Dr. Kang is so wonderful, kind, and prompt. Her staff is wonderful, as well. The receptionist, Kevin, went above and beyond to check in with my insurance company and provide me with information and pricing. I had a major procedure done this week, and it was quick, painless, and overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kang!
I would highly suggest getting a second opinion before scheduling any dental work with Dr. Kang.
The best dentist experience I have ever had. The appointment started right on time, the office manager was extremely friendly and helpful (in explaining how my specific plan worked with deductibles, their bill rate and how that would apply to me), the doctor was friendly and efficient (plus, painless) and the office was immaculate. I definitely recommend.
This comment is about the clerk and not the dentist. Condescending, and misleading on prices of procedures. Desk clerk(Keven) said my insurance was approved, and then didn't disclose the cost/fee of a procedure until the procedure was already done, and won't negotiate a reasonable payment plan. If you can afford anything out-of-pocket right away, then this place is great, but if not, go to another dentist.
I've been coming here for years and there's a reason for that. The staff is so amazing, super welcoming when you come in and on their game with all of your appointments. I never have to wait long and if I ever have to reschedule, they're very accommodating. I recommend them to everyone I know and plan to continue coming back!
I get major anxiety over dental visits but after many years of avoiding it I decided I needed to take care of my teeth. The team at Ebenezer Dental was so kind and patient with me they explained all the steps clearly and were super gentle. They made some recommendations for the concerns I had and explained my insurance benefits to me as well. Big thanks to everyone who worked with me during my appointment! I recommend them highly.
Very thorough and technically proficient. Everyone was friendly and informative!
Karen was great. Professional, straightforward and very through
The female dentist who did my cleaning was professional, friendly and informative. I've had many teeth cleaning & can tell if dentist is trying to scare me by upselling more dental work. She was on par with facts and genuinely care about my receding gum line. I was seen in minutes & entire staff was mindful of getting me taken care of right away so I can make my concert. Also very helpful with my insurance. I'd certainly would come back !
Loved it. Everyone is always super friendly, and they even gave me some hand lotion as a gift to keep my hands smooth during the winter.
Always a pleasant experience at this office. The front desk staff is super nice and always friendly and accommodating. I had a cleaning and everything pretty standard but anytime I've gone I've left feeling taken care of and really understanding what I need to do in terms of my dental health.
Very nice folks in the office, clean facilities, I feel taken care of when I go there!
Very professional and explained everything
The staff was super friendly and everything was organized. Everything always runs smoothly with my appointments here.
Timely, was seen right away. However she tried to get me to do orthodontic work, which I didn't feel was appropriate.
The people at the reception are always friendly , helpful and informative . I get treated by different dentist most of the time but they are all professional and made me feel at ease. The hygienists are also patient and nice . Would recommend this place
Although they asked me to rescheduled twice, the service was very good. Karen is very knowledgeable and made me aware of the severity of my cavity. She seems very skilled and also very personable.
very accommodating and efficient.
Excellent dentist, great bedside manner. dr kang knows her stuff. she very meticulous. her office is spotless. the office crew is helpful and polite. the only dentist I completely trust. l've been going to her for a couple of years now and I feel lucky to have found her. the only thing is that she now works only two or three times a week so I have to make sure I make my appointment when she is in office.
Fastest, most efficient, and friendliest service I have ever had at a dentist.
Very sweet, loved my teeth and does one hell of a cleaning. Highly remcommened!
It was too much money and too long to wait for a partial. Was not happy with discussion on money.
I go here for cleanings once every six months during my lunch break. Hygienists are friendly and thorough, and gave me recommendations to prevent tartar buildup. Dentist Karen comes in at the end for around 5 minutes, looks around, says everything looks good, done! Efficient, in and out in 40 minutes. Friendly reception too.
I didn't feel like she really cared about my dental health but rather getting me in and out relatively fast or making money on whatever procedure may need to be done. It was strange how she left the room and said I could talk to "management" about pricing then a guy came out which felt like bartering for dental services. One of my molar teeth in the back is missing so he was trying to really sell me on replacing it but was telling me the insurance would cover a certain amount but then told me it would be the same price even if I didn't have insurance. I asked him how detrimental to my dental health it would be if I just didn't get it replace which he couldn't really answer. I ended up getting a cavity filled and two slight chips on my front teeth fixed - I noticed one actually wasn't completely done so I need to go back. When I went to check out the guy who I guess is "management" just kept telling me how good of a deal I got with the discounts he gave me which is weird to hear from the dentist even if it's true. As I was paying the dentist walked past and uttered some word of frustration - not sure what it was directed at but either way I found it unprofessional.
Karen was awesome, barely any wait time at all, she filled two cavities for me and ing lad to say I didn't feel a thing!
The only downside to the office visit was the terrifying eyebrow waxing and threading graphics that plastered the entire front of her office building. I walked by the door several times convinced my dentist could not possibly be in such a disreputable building!
I saw Dr. Chin. She's so warm and welcoming. Alleviates all anxieties that one might experience when visiting a dental office. Young gem. I'm actually not dreading heading back next week for my fillings...
One of the few dentists that made my visit pleasant.
Great. I just started with this dentist in 2014 and I found them on every encounter: efficient, caring, & knowledgable.
Was frustrated by not getting called to let me know dentist was running late. The review indicated significant need for interventions, which did not align with review by family dentist 3 months ago. Felt the treatment plan was overly aggressive, and didn't help me prioritize immediate vs medium term needs.
Agree with other reviews that I've read - nice/clean offices (four flights up), great hygienists (quick, gentle), x-rays (annoying but necessary if you haven't done them in a while). Dr. Kang introduced herself before she started her exam - nice! She explained (and showed me) each of the areas that she found issues - I admittedly have some so it was expected. I am actually looking forward to going back - how crazy is that??
Zoc Doc didnt sync up too well with their office. Waited to fill out paper work there. They called to confirm a couple times about the appointment. Easy to get to location. Cleaning went quick. Will be going back for future visits.
Aside from the building being a little sketchy and the elevator slow, the office is very clean. The receptionist is nice and the hygienist was very sweet and meticulous. Dr. Kang, who later looked at my teeth and x-rays after the hygienist cleaned my teeth, was very professional but seems just a bit rushed. She recommended a few procedures and after I asked a few questions, she said she would get the manager to explain the costs, at which point she was already walking out of the exam room. I had a few more questions I wanted to ask, but aside from that, I would recommend this place! The manager took his time to explain the costs of the procedures, and was really approachable. I'll be going back for a chipped-tooth filling in a few weeks.
I've been to this office for a total of 4 or 5 times. They're usually pretty fast, except for my first visit for which they took longer. Nice and easy to talk to. There's more than one doctor in this office- I was seen by 2 of them for different procedures. Overall good. Would recommend to anyone.
Great visit. From the front desk to Dr. Kang, the entire staff was professional and friendly. I'd recommend them to anyone. The only part I didn't enjoy was that I filled out all my ZocDoc materials online and then they had me refill them out at the office. I didn't want to be rude so I just did (it was my first visit). Great team. 10/10
The office is very clean and professional and the service was great. Highly recommended!
I prefer a more personal approach from my dentist. Poor follow-up. Didnt really feel that they care either way. Different dentist for every appointment.
Although my first visit was good, and I got a thorough cleaning y her assistant. But the second visit seemed rushed especially the cleaning part which she did it herself.
Really friendly receptionists and assistants. Dr. Kang was friendly, too. Not pushy with treatments though prices seem a tad high--will have to look into that.
shes amazing. her staff is amazing def would recommend her. shes very gentle..
The building looked sketchy and I hesitated to go in. But I trusted the ratings I saw on ZocDoc and proceeded into the office, which ended up being very clean and bright. Its hard to say if Dr Kang was great or not after one visit, but I am going back for additional procedures.
I should preface by saying the last time I saw Dr. Kang was probably late 2014/early 2015. I logged into ZocDoc today to make another appointment and realized I never left a review here. The first several times I saw Dr. Kang, all experiences were great. I decided to have my last two wisdom teeth removed per her recommendation. During the extraction, Dr. Kang had cracked part of my jaw and never told me about it. I had significant pain for days following and when I went back to find out what was wrong, she nonchalantly mentioned that the pain I was experiencing was due the crack in my jaw that occurred during extraction. No apology, no explanation. When I asked her what she can do to remedy it because I was in pain, she told me nothing and that it would heal on its own in several months. This was the last time I ever saw this dentist and ever will. She used excessive force to pull a tooth that probably should have been removed by an oral surgeon. I went later that day to my oral surgeon (who extracted my first two wisdom teeth) and he was able to shave down the boney fragment that was pushing into my gum causing pain. He also stitched my gum afterwards as he had to make an incision to access the bone. After that experience, I will never go back to see Dr. Kang.
The visit felt very rushed. When I came in, I heard horrenous screaming from another patient in one of the rooms. I don't think I've heard such terror at a dentist's office. I also did not like that all of the cleaning was done by the hygenist. Dr. Kang came in very briefly at the end to check up on the work and to suggest for me to replace my molars with crowns. X-rays were taken, but I don't think she took any time to look at them since she kept picking at one area of my teeth that had prior work done. I did not get a toothbrush, floss or toothpaste goodie bag that I normally get at from my other dentists.
staff were all very professional. doctor was nice and very patient in explaining everything.
Dr. Kang was good. She was very thorough and honest, which I can appreciate. However, they tend to focus on the cosmetic side of things and push for the unnecessary and pricey procedures. On a positive, she’s very fast with fillings, and truly cares about your teeth. She's a solid dentist.
Everything went fine on my visit. The office was nice, clean and orderly. The appointment went well and everything felt comfortable.
Not bad at all, but the assistant appeared rather new or inexperienced.
Just had my first appointment...the office is spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful and try to put you at ease. The background music is soothing. Most importantly, the doctor is responsive and so far has been thorough. I have my next appointment this week.
She was nice and knowledgeable. I recommend her to prospective patients.
The outside of the building was a bit sketchy, but once I stepped off the elevator the office was very clean and felt contemporary. Staff and Dr. Kang were great. I will certainly be back.
Very nice, and very pro
Dr. Kang and her staff were great. My teeth felt great when I left :)
Dr. Kang was extremely kind and made me feel very comfortable. She gave a step by step explanation with the procedure I needed. The staff was professional and also very kind. I would book my future appointments here.
The office was very spa-like! Which was really nice. Staff was very courteous and polite. Dr. Kang seemed much more interested in the cosmetic look and enhancement of my teeth then the health of my teeth. My cleaning was very poor. Will not book another appt.
Dr. Kang, her dental assistant and the front desk person were all very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, prompt and respectful. I would recommend her to any friend and family member. After being in NYC 15 mos now I am glad to have found a dentist I can trust.
I would readily recommend Dr. Kang to anyone!
She was wonderful! Will definitely be back for a cleaning.
Dr. Kang was so nice and knowledgeable. I really appreciated how well she took care me and my teeth.
She was really nice and patient. Everyone there was attentive and considerate. I loved it.
Her staff is very kind and courteous. I found out that due to a crown not being placed on my route canal, I would have to lose that tooth and Dr. Kang showed more concern and distraught than me. That proved to me that she is right where she needs to be facilitating and caring for the health of our teeth.
Nice dentist, I would go back to see her again.
Dr. Kang fixed a few fillings that a previous dentist had done poorly and they look amazing. She was very candid about the health of my teeth and suggested ways to better improve them. I will definitely be going back to her for all of my dental needs.
