Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Karmen Ancar has always had a passion for helping others and making people feel confident in their smiles. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She later completed a General Practice Residency at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry, where she received expanded training in comprehensive patient care. Dr. Ancar enjoys getting to know her patients and believes that a great dental experience starts with making people feel comfortable, heard, and informed. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and helping her patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Ancar enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends. She looks forward to welcoming new patients and helping them feel right at home from their very first visit.
